Troy Eckhardt is a seasoned accountant and Enrolled Agent with a mission to empower Christians to be good stewards of God's bounty, build wealth, and plan for the future with confidence and dignity. As the founder of Eckhardt Accounting, Troy blends decades of experience, practical wisdom, and an unshakable commitment to integrity, all in service of helping others thrive financially and personally.
Though Troyā€™s career began in the classroom as a German and physics teacher, he soon found himself disillusioned with the world of teaching in a government school. It was a calling closer to home that redirected his path: accounting, the profession of his father and mentor. Inspired by his dad's quiet competence and diligence, an audit group supervisor for the Florida Department of Revenue, Troy pursued a bachelor's degree in accounting and earned his Enrolled Agent designation. He later earned a Master's degree and a doctorate in Organizational Leadership.
In 2000, after gradually building a loyal clientele, Troy transitioned full-time into the accounting world. By 2012, he bought out his fatherā€™s firm. However, the two continued working side by side but in separate corporations, until his fatherā€™s passing in 2021, a legacy of both family and professional partnership that shaped the very DNA of Troyā€™s practice.
Today, Troyā€™s focus has changed a bit: he now trains Christians to find kingdom meaning, peace, and profit by learning to handle church finances. He understands that these professionals care deeply for God and His people but often overlook their own financial future. His work bridges that gap with practical strategy, reverence, and a fierce dedication to his students' success.
Outside of business, Troy finds joy in studying the Bible, spending time with his family, and constantly learning about the universe. He doesnā€™t measure success by wealth or accolades but by how selflessly he can serve others and provide for those he loves.
